THE MISSION · CAT FUND

Every trade helps a cat in need.

Trading on any chain generates creator fees, and part of that shared pool feeds real cats. It's not only money, either. The community pitches in goods directly too, food, litter, meds, whatever a shelter actually needs. Shelters, research, refuges, neutering, anything that helps cats in need counts. We log all of it, and ideas on who to help next are always welcome.

In December 2013, days after the world fell in love with a Shiba, a young developer in Chile forked Litecoin and shipped the first cat-themed blockchain. He called it Catcoin. He posted the announcement on Bitcointalk. The signature on that post still matches the wallet that signs this site.

Real life had other plans, and he had to step away. Others kept the chain alive. It still produces blocks today, in someone else's hands, which is more than most coins that age ever get. But this site is not that chain. This is what came next.

In 2026 the founder came back. Not with a new L1 of his own this time, but with $CATCOIN, launched on Solana and now expanding across chains. New token, same dev at the wheel.

    Genesis

    Catcoin L1 ships, days after Dogecoin. Forked from Litecoin. The first cat-themed chain ever produced. Posted on Bitcointalk by kr105.

  2. 2014 · 2025

    The Long Block

    kr105 steps away. Others keep the L1 producing blocks. It still runs today, in someone else's hands. This project does not claim those years as its own.

  3. EARLY · 2026

    Return on Solana

    kr105 comes back, not with a new L1 of his own, but with a new token on Solana. No presale, no insiders, no team allocation. Brand new token, same dev at the wheel.

  4. Q2 · 2026

    Site · Cat Fund · Lore

    The site goes public. Donations flow from the shared marketing pool. Lore and tokenomics laid out from 2013 to now.

    Games on Chain

    Last Cat Standing goes live and integrates the token. Playable cat games on Solana with on-chain scores.

    Multichain: Robinhood Chain

    Catcoin expands beyond Solana and goes live on Robinhood Chain. Creator trading fees on each chain buy back Catcoin on the others, so growth on any chain feeds the others.
